The Pet Lovers Sweepstakes will be conducted beginning on Tuesday,
January 10, 2012 and will end on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. |
|
To participate,a player must "like" the Virginia Lottery on Facebook and submit a
non-winning Virginia Lottery Lucky Dog Doubler or Cat Scratch Fever scratcher ticket available for purchase during the sweepstakes
period. |
|
In conjunction with this Sweepstakes, twelve (12) drawings will take place on the
following dates:

Each Sweepstakes entry must be entered no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, one (1) day prior to the drawing for which it is intended. |

The Pet Lovers Sweepstakes is open to players 18 years of age or older.
Players may
be required to provide proof of their date of birth. |
|
A player may enter the Pet Lovers Sweepstakes more than once as long as a different non-winning Lucky Dog Doubler or Cat Scratch Fever ticket is submitted with each entry. |
|
Chances
of winning any prize in the Pet Lovers Sweepstakes depend on the
number of total entries. |
|
The Virginia Lottery will not be responsible for entries submitted incorrectly, received before the January 10, 2012 start date, or received after the April 3, 2012 entry deadline date. Such entries shall be deemed invalid. |

be eligible to enter the Pet Lovers Sweepstakes you must "like" the
Virginia Lottery on Facebook and register as
a participant of Lottery Match. |
|
 To
participate, a player
must "like" the Virginia Lottery on Facebook and submit the Sweepstakes Entry Number (back of ticket) and the Sweepstakes Entry Code (front of ticket) from one (1)
non-winning Lucky Dog Doubler or Cat Scratch Fever ticket.
The Sweepstakes Entry Number is the
14-digit number
found on the
back
of the ticket.
The Sweepstakes Entry Code is the 6-digit alpha numeric code found under the
latex on the front of the ticket. |

A Sweepstakes Entry Number may be entered
only one time. |
|
PLAYERS
MUST RETAIN THE
NON-WINNING TICKETS
THEY ENTER, AS PROOF
OF ELIGIBILITY, SO
THEY CAN CLAIM THEIR
PRIZE IF THEIR ENTRY
IS SELECTED. |
|
PLAYERS MUST KEEP any non-winning tickets that they enter, as proof of eligibility,
for 90 days after winners have been announced, so they can claim their prize if their entry is selected. We say 90 days because, if a winner cannot accept a prize, we could notify an alternate winner up to 90 days after the original winners are announced. If the alternate winner doesn't have the appropriate entry ticket, we cannot offer the prize to
that alternate. |

The Virginia Lottery will not be responsible for Sweepstakes Entry Numbers that are transposed or entered incorrectly. |
|
The Winners selected will each be notified by an official letter or email sent by the
Virginia Lottery. Included with the congratulatory letter will be a Claim form, an Affidavit
of Eligibility form, return envelope and a complete copy of the Virginia Lottery’s
Pet Lovers Sweepstakes Rules.
Winners who fail to respond to their winner notification will forfeit their Prize. |
